5.12.2013 was the International Volunteer Day and VHS Aachen dept. School Certificates invited students of the department who are volunteers or interested in that topic to the 1. VOLARE workshop. Some students presented their work as volunteers: one working as boy scout staff with young children, one working as a coach for combatant sports for youngsters and one has helped during the high tide desaster in eastern Germany. Also two teachers presented their volunteering experiences in work with migrants, foreign aid and sports.
