On May 21,  we met and interviewed the head of the Centre Il Formicaio, the Social Centre for Children where some of us have done voluntary work in recent months. Davide, the manager, told us first of all how the center works, what are the opening hours, the activities that take place every day. In the working group of the Centre are many volunteers, some our age, some older, all united by the fact that they work together and do something for the children. It 'was a very interesting meeting, some of us have expressed their willingness to volunteer one afternoon a week.

On May 26, a week after our meeting with David, we returned to Formicaio to interview Roberta, a girl not much bigger than us serving volunteer at the center, one day a week. She told us about her experience, which lasts for two years now. Being with the kids, she says, is tiring but very fun. With them you do many things: you go to take them to school, playing, talking, doing homework, and various laboratories ... "Children have a special energy, are joyful," she tells us, "very often when you're with them you forget the thoughts and problems "...
