This Thursday
has taken place the second visit to an NGO. Our students have visited the Civil
Protection facilities in Gijón.
The objective
of this visit was to learn more about the actions they perform and the events
in which they help.
The youngsters asked the volunteers about the skills they
need to work there, and other issues about the tasks the volunteers have to do.
They found out a lot of information about how they coordinate the staff and
materials required to mitigate the effects of natural or
man-made disasters and/or help to recover from the consequences.
Now the
students have to fill in the questionnaire, to complete all the information
collected. They are working very hard in order to get the best possible result.
We are looking
forward to the next visit to an NGO!
